May 3 & 4 2008 - Pottery Fest, 10am - 4 pm 

Both Madeline Gallo and Jim Best will have their works at Pottery Fest 2008- May 3 & 4, 2008 at the Shaker Site in Colonie, near the Albany International Airport. Entry fee is $4 (and worth every penny!). Children under 12 admitted free.  This event showcases the diversity, range, and talent of clay artists in our area. Food and beverage available. Handicap accessible. Free Parking.

April 19, 2008 - Manga Drawing for Teens, 10 am - 2 pm

Lisa Martinez will cover the basics of proportion, expressions, hairstyles, head and body angles, clothing and accessories.  Human vs. Faerie.  How to achieve the impact you want.  Backgrounds, fantasy creatures.  Watercolor painting techniques.  Cost: $50.  Students will need to bring a drawing pad, pencils erasers, colored pencils or markers IF they have them, razor point or extra fine point black marker, lunch/snacks, drinks.  Contact Lisa Martinez to register: 581-1339 or willowsbend@hotmail.com
